Deacon Doug Kendzierski was ordained in 2009 by Cardinal O’Brien, and assigned immediately to the location of his pastoral year internship at Sacred Heart of Mary. He has served six years of his ministry at the Graceland Park parish, also supporting Saint Rita’s, and was assigned by Archbishop Lori to serve the parishioners of Saint Leo the Great Parish effective August 1, 2015.
Deacon Doug has childhood ties to Saint Leo's. He is the father of three daughters, two of whom are employed in Baltimore’s Catholic Schools. His wife Lisa is also a long-time Catholic School teacher. Deacon Doug is a native of Baltimore City, and grew up in Saint Anthony of Padua Parish in Gardenville, attending that elementary school, and then Archbishop Curley High School.
He is also a Professor and Chair of Applied Technology at the Community College of Baltimore County, and resides in Jarrettsville, MD, with his family.
