As a result of the Archdiocese of Baltimore's Seek the City campaign, St. Leo's Church and St. Vincent de Paul have become partner parishes.
What does this mean? It means our two parishes within the Archdiocese will closely collaborate on various aspects of our ministries while still maintaining our own distinct identities and financial independence. Essentially, we will be working together to enhance each other's effectiveness as a united community.

A Key MomentJanuary 26th was the first big, shared activity between St. Leo’s and our partner parish, St. Vincent de Paul's. From all which was seen and heard that day at our special event at St. Mary’s Seminary, Baltimore, we got off to a good start. Even if a little tentative, there was openness between the two local communities and a sincere curiosity on the part of both. The leaders of the day emphasized the importance of this session and the ongoing process.
The morning began with Eucharistic Liturgy to keep us focused on the central theme: the life and unity of all in the Lord Jesus. From that alone comes all dedication, inspiration, and sincere mutual love. The scheduled readings of the day were perfect for our purposes. Sometimes the Lord works through coincidences. Fr. Ray Chase of St. Vincent de Paul led us deeply into the meaning and message of the Scriptures.
The sharing sessions after the Mass were well participated. Almost seemed many wanted to keep talking when we had to call an end. We pray this experience inspires all to trust the process and commit to it. The Lord is calling us to a new adventure, new possibilities, and new life.
