The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.
Couples seeking to be married at St. Leo the Great are to make arrangements with the pastor one year in advance of their intended wedding date. At least one of the engaged must be a registered and practicing member of the parish for (preferably) one year.
Call the parish office to schedule a time to meet with a clergy member to prepare for the Sacrament of marriage. Our Administrative Assistant will explain the necessary paperwork which must be submitted six months prior to the wedding.
