- Your entire famiglia is welcome at St. Leo's! We love all ages, all people, all nationalities, and certainly small children. If your baby or child becomes antsy and needs a moment, feel free to step into the vestibule or the balcony at the entrance, where you can still listen to Mass.
- We offer Children's Liturgy during 9:30 AM Sunday Mass for ages 2-11. Using crafts, handouts, and stories relating to the Bible, children can better understand The Word on their age level with easier language. Drop off children in the Church Hall before Mass, accessible from either door on the ground level: one on Stiles Street, one on Exeter Street.
- We are handicap accessible with an elevator. To locate the elevator entrance, the Church Hall, and/or the School Hall (one block west - not attached to the church building), view directional photos of our building under the tab Learn your way around on this page.
- Mass runs approximately one hour. At the close of Mass, the priest gives a final blessing and processes out during the closing hymn. Ideally, the congregation should stay through the recessional.
- What to wear to church? We see everything from dressy to business casual to jeans to Ravens jerseys to youth in sports uniforms! Attending Mass is to honor our Lord, thus attire should be respectful of the spiritual environment. During the warmer summer months, please be mindful about clothing that may be too casual or revealing.
- Our church is air-conditioned cooly in the summer and heated cozily in the winter!
- Please do not bring snacks and beverages (even to feed small children) into church since we strive to keep our carpets and cloth-covered pews stain-free and clean.
- We welcome non-Catholics, too! We want everyone to feel comfortable attending our Masses. To receive a blessing during Communion, approach the Eucharistic Minister / clergy with your arms crossed over your chest so they know not to administer the Host.
- We host many events year-round ... from dinners to Italian festivals to street processions to theology talks. Attending some of our happenings is a marvelous way to meet our parishioners and make fast friends.
