First Holy Communion is a Christian ritual that celebrates the first time a person receives the Eucharist - the host or the bread (and wine) representing the body and blood of Jesus Christ. It's a significant rite of passage for many Catholics.

Families who wish to have their children (ages 7-10) prepare and attend classes for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion should contact Maryellen 'Gia' Woodward. There is a small fee to cover books and materials.
